Jon Freddy Slater had died in the afternoon before. We were given a beautiful room in Ipswich Hospital to stay with him overnight. The next morning I sat at my Korg Oasys. I couldn't play the piano very well at all. I was still searching for my music... I played what you hear, in one take, with no prior idea of what it was to be as a piece in form or content. I played it to my son Jon Freddy Slater. ADSn as a thank you for my already son Benjamin Edward Tiger Slater. Who was and is awesome...
In Jon Freddy's honour I got the song online by the afternoon breaking my holdback of daring to share as I stumbled trying to discover re-invention.
Then I went back to hiding away...
